If you choose a specific partner, 100% of your contribution goes to them. Alternatively, donate to the Kamalanga Foundation as a whole, and we will distribute funds to where we believe they will make the greatest difference.

No, the Kamalanga Foundation is a separate entity from Kamaroutes Travel Designers. We are an independent, non-profit organisation governed by a board of directors. Our commitment is to transparency and accountability, as evidenced by our South African Charity Commission registration (number xxx).

Donations from South Africa are eligible for tax deduction. Unfortunately, as most of our partners are small, grassroots organisations that are not recognised as international charities, we can’t offer tax deductions on donations made from outside South Africa.

Your trust is essential. Our board, comprising Kamaroutes Travel staff and external trustees, rigorously assesses and monitors all partner organizations according to an approved criteria. Independent audits and annual impact reports ensure transparency in our financial management.
Every single booking supports our charity foundation. Kamaroutes Travel Designers fully funds the Pathways project and the Palesa pads project. Additionally, operational costs, including administration, project management, accounts and marketing are covered by Kamaroutes, ensuring 100% of your donation goes directly to our projects.
